History
UBBC celebrated the centenary of the church's planting in 2005.
In October 1905, a West Country farmer by the name of Mr T D Cross, moved to Upper Beeding with his wife, ten children, various farm workers and livestock.
The family were Baptists. As well as joining the Shoreham Baptist Church, they began a Sunday School in their kitchen at Beeding Court Farm.
By 1913 a new Mission Hall was needed to accommodate the increasing numbers, and in 1959 the Beeding Mission became a fully-fledged Baptist Church.
The current Church building was constructed in 1966 and a hall added in 1976.
