The Alpha Course at UBBC

Alpha at UBBC

AlphaThe Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It is low key, friendly and fun.

Our most recent Alpha course began in September 2007 with an introductory supper at the Castle Inn, Bramber. A guest speaker and others who have recently done an Alpha course shared their experience of Alpha and explain more about what is involved.

The ten week course then followed.

A meal together at the beginning of each session gives an opportunity to get to know each other.

Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

For information about future Alpha courses in the area, contact Juliet on 01903 810068.

What is the Alpha Course?

The Alpha course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith. There is a light meal together at the beginning of each session, which gives people a chance to get to know each other.

Alpha is for everyone, especially:

  • Those wanting to investigate Christianity
  • New Christians
  • Newcomers to the church
  • Those who want to brush up on the basics

UBBC runs Alpha courses on a regular basis. For more information about Alpha, see the Alpha web site, and please use our Contact page to enquire about courses at UBBC.
