Overseas Contacts

The church maintains an active interest in missionary work overseas through people closely linked with us. We provide financial support, prayerful concern, and practical assistance where possible.

Jeanie is seconded to Oasis India. She is engaged in literacy programmes, work with street children, and training Indian teachers for service in their own churches, schools and local communities.

Joy works with CARR (ChildAid to Russia and the Republics) among the street children of Khabaravosk.

We also support the Baptist Missionary Society World Mission, and link with a family working in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

All seek to demonstrate their Christian faith through the work they are doing for the benefit of others.

Pokot, Kenya

Along with Upper Beeding Primary School, UBBC has been involved with the funding of a new school building in West Pokot, Kenya.
