Special Church Meeting to decide if we invite Peter Butchers to become our new Minister.

Following the visit of Peter & Vicki Butchers on 9th May, the Church Leadership Team invited Peter & Vicki to meet with them to discuss the potential of them serving at UBBC. After this positive meeting, they then asked Peter & Vicki back to meet with them and the Ministry Team Leaders to explore further if Peter might be our next minister.

Again a very positive meeting took place which was followed by a more formal interview the following evening with the CLT. Peter has accepted the CLT's invitation to preach with a view on Sunday 13th June. There will be an opportunity to chat with Peter and Vicki over lunch following the service. This will be part of our prayer weekend and we do encourage you all to be part of that important time. There will be a Special Church Meeting on Tuesday 15th June to decide if we invite Peter to become our next Minister. We also discussed Vicki's experience and passion for working with children and families and if Peter becomes our new Minister, she would like to explore how she could be involved in that area of church life.
